Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PC Review

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Hi guys! Today I will talk about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. As always, the review will have four parts, firstly I will talk about the storyline, then about the gameplay, afterward, I will talk about the visuals and finally, I will tell you my personal thoughts and give you a rating for the game from 0-10 (10 being the best).

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order PC Review

Storyline

The story of the game takes place 5 years after Anakin becomes Darth Vader. The game follows the story of Cal Kestis who is a Padawan that survived Order 66. I won’t tell you more about the story since I don’t want to spoil it, but what I can say is that the story is very interesting and the characters feel unique, the actors did a great job portraying these characters. I believe you will enjoy the story of this game.

Gameplay

It’s been years since the last single-player Star Wars game. I have to say I was very excited when they announced this and this game didn’t disappoint. The combat is fast, the difficulty is enough to make the game challenging and there are a lot of different types of enemies that you will face.

As you progress through the game you unlock new force abilities and you can improve their efficiency through the skill tree. The skill tree has 3 main branches. One is for the force powers, another is for lightsaber combat abilities, and the last is for survival abilities.

In the game, there is only one way to heal and that is through stim canisters. You start with 2 and there are 8 more that you can find in the different locations that you will visit for a total of 10. These “healing potions” are the only way for you to restore HP and they are not easy to find. You might have to look a video on YouTube to find all of them if you don’t like exploring that is. I finished the game in the hardest difficulty and I had 7 of them. Of course, you can beat the game with less, it all depends on you and if you want to make the game more challenging for yourself.

Now the only other way to restore HP is to find resting points in the areas you visit and rest there. When you rest in a resting point you make a checkpoint and when you die you return to that resting point. Also when you rest all your stims are restored.

The last thing I want to talk about is performance. The game stutters a little when you enter new areas to load the map and also sometimes in combat. That isn’t a hardware issue. I have GTX 1070 and i7-7700 with 16 GB Ram, and I locked frames to 60 fps max and even lowered some of the visuals to high instead of epic and it still stutters sometimes. I heard the same thing happens to others with even better graphics cards, for example, GTX 2080. This is a game optimization issue and it will probably be fixed in future patches. These stutters weren’t enough to impact the experience of the game. They were a minor annoyance.

Visuals

The visuals, the game looks visually stunning, with breathtaking locations. It has some of the best graphics I have seen in a while. Those of you that want games to look as good as possible and won’t settle for low graphics games, won’t be disappointed by this one.

Now as for the customization, you have a lot of options. You can unlock different outfit colors in the game by finding them in boxes in the game, and you can also customize every part of your lightsaber. The customization in this game is very good but to be honest none of the outfit colors was good enough for me so I had to download a mod that looked exactly how I wanted to look like before I had even seen the color options, one of the perks of playing on PC.

[adinserter block=”1″]

Final Thoughts

To summarize my review this game is good, really good. Those performance problems I mentioned are minor and they will probably be patched soon, and even if they don’t get patched it is still a great game that is worth buying. If you aren’t sure then wait for the first sale to get it at a lower price.

As I said before the combat is amazing, the visuals are top-notch and the storyline is equally as good. Even though it’s EA they finally released a good game without microtransactions. If you are a Star Wars fan or if you want a solid single-player experience this game is for you.

Final Verdict

Storyline: 9.3

Gameplay: 8.5

Visuals: 10.0

General Rating: 9.3

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

Hi guys! Today I will show you the results of our Survey for Anime Fans.

First of all, I want to thank all of you that took part in this survey, because you made this possible.

Second, I want to say that the total number of people that took part in this survey so far is 100. I would have liked to have a bigger sample size but this is enough for our needs.

With 100 people sample size, the margin of error is 10%. For example, if 60% of the participants reported a fear of heights, there would be a 95% probability that between 50 and 70% of the total population have a fear of heights.

Of course, the survey will remain open and those of you that haven’t done it till now can still take part in this research that we are doing. Here is the Survey for Anime Fans.

We also have a survey for GamersHere is the link. We would really appreciate it if you took the time to complete it.

Now without further ado, let’s see the results.

Gender & Age

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

We have to say that there were more females than we expected. It seems that it is a myth that the vast majority of anime fans are males.

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

57% of anime viewers are between 18 and 24 years old. That is something that we believe most of you expected. Nothing surprising in these stats.

Hours per Week

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

85% of Anime Fans watch anime between 1 and 10 hours. This is also something not surprising.

Favorite Genre

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

It seems the favorite genre of anime fans is Action with 18%, next comes Psychological with 17% which is a little surprising at least for us cause we believed that the second most popular genre would be Adventure.

The next question is one of the most interesting ones.

Piracy in Anime

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

According to the answer, 66% of Anime Fans watch anime on a pirate website. Let’s first see the next question and then we will talk more about this number.

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

89% of Anime Fans would watch anime on a pirate website and 66% of Anime Fans watch anime on a pirate website. Now that 66% could be legit stat but we believe that the number of people that watch anime on a pirate website is much higher.

Probably some people didn’t want to admit doing something illegal so they lied on the first question and told the truth in the second since in the second question they could tell the truth without admitting on doing something illegal. This is our opinion at least, whether you believe it is up to you.

Now the next question.

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

84% of Anime Fans think that websites, where you can watch pirated anime, should exist. That is a very big number, and it says a lot about the state of the anime industry since many people don’t have access to services to watch anime legally and their only option is to pirate them.

Subscription Fees

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

Only 32% of Anime Fans pay for a subscription to watch anime. That further proves that the majority of Anime Fans pirate anime.

Let’s see what Anime Fans think about DVDs.

Anime DVDs

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

It seems only 32% of Anime Fans buy DVDs of anime they like, which isn’t surprising to us.

This next question isn’t a statistic.

Next, we wanted to know if Anime Fans think that they are too old to watch anime.

Age & Social Barriers

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

82% of Anime Fans Strongly Disagree that they are too old to watch anime.

Furthermore, only 3% seems to think that they might be too old to watch anime.

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

81% of Anime Fans Disagree that anime are for young people. From these stats, you can clearly see that Anime Fans believe that age doesn’t matter when it comes to anime.

Let’s see now one of the most intriguing questions, and it is intriguing because of the fact that many people think watching anime as an adult makes you unpopular or a loser.

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

The next question results aren’t surprising.

87% of Anime Fans answered that it is possible they would stop watching anime.

The next 2 questions are about relationships and how watching anime affect a relationship. We will comment on the results after we show you the 2 statistics.

Anime in Relationships

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites
66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

97% of Anime Fans would reveal to their significant other that they watch anime. Also, only 17% of Anime Fans think that watching anime makes it harder to find a girlfriend/boyfriend. With this and the previous statistics, it is clear that watching anime isn’t something that affects romantic relationships as much as it used to.

Let’s now see what Anime Fans think about cartoons.

Anime vs Cartoons

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

72% of Anime Fans believe that anime are for older audiences than cartoons. Now whether this is true or not, it comes down to who you ask.

Anime vs Manga

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

The stats are pretty balanced hear as you can see. It seems that for Anime Fans anime and manga are equal and none surpasses the other.

Bonus Question

66% of Anime Fans Watch Anime on Pirate Websites

Only 18% of Anime Fans consider themselves as otaku. It isn’t a big percentage but it’s logical if you think about it.

Albion Online Review

Albion Online Review

Hi guys! Today I will talk about Albion Online. As always, the review will have four parts, firstly I will talk about the storyline, then about the gameplay, afterward, I will talk about the visuals and finally, I will tell you my personal thoughts and give you a rating for the game from 0-10 (10 being the best).

Albion Online Review

Storyline

Albion is one of those MMORPGs that have lore for those that are interested but you don’t really get to experience the lore through the gameplay, at least in my opinion. For those of you that like a game to have lore I can say that you won’t be disappointed, but don’t expect the gameplay to expand upon this lore through quests.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Albion is not for everyone. At the start of the game, you do the tutorial where you choose the weapons and gear that you will use and those basically decide your class. Depending on your gear you will have different abilities available. You can freely switch classes at any point of the game, so you don’t need to feel trapped in a class.

The problem is that to be able to use better gear, you will have to do tedious tasks like killing hundreds of creatures or mining hundreds of materials. And if at some point you decide that you want to change classes, you will have to do the same process all over again from the start for the new class that you chose.

This game is 90% mining and killing mobs and 10% PvP. You will have to spend hours mining and killing mobs to progress in this game and the progression isn’t fast.

In the beginning, I found it fun that the game has no linear progression with quests, and that it gives you the freedom to do what you want, but after 30 hours of just killing mobs and mining materials, I got tired of it. I believe that to enjoy this game you need people to play together as a group, I wouldn’t recommend this game to people that want to play solo. I joined a guild but that didn’t change much. You have to have real friends that you can talk to to truly enjoy this game.

As for the combat mechanics, you will move with right-clicking with the mouse and activate abilities with your keyboard. The combat is nothing special, it’s the classic MMORPG combat system that you will see in most MMORPGs.

PVP is allowed on some zones of the game depending on the zone color(each color represents different restrictions to PVP, I won’t go into further detail here because you will learn all that pretty early in the game).

Visuals

The graphics of the game aren’t anything special and the character models have little detail. That means that you will be able to run this game in lower-end PCs but when you visit areas with high player population the game will lag a lot and the fps will decrease a lot too.

Don’t expect to be amazed by the visuals but I have to say the game has its own personality and you can see that through the animation of the environment.

As for the character customization, you will have a lot of options like in most MMORPGs and I don’t believe that you will be disappointed.

[adinserter block=”1″]

Final Thoughts

I said it before and I will say it again, this game isn’t for everyone. If you don’t like grinding then don’t play the game, if you don’t have friends that will play with you, then I also don’t recommend that you play this game, you will probably be bored after 20-30 hours without friends.

The visuals aren’t great too, so the game isn’t for those of you that want realistic visuals and breathtaking graphics.

This game is for people that can play for 20 hours and do nothing other than mining and killing mobs to get materials to craft better gear and do that all over again and again. Of course, there are other things to do besides mining and crafting and killing mobs like PvP between players or between guilds but that isn’t what you will do in the majority of the time that you play the game. This game is grinding in its purest form and if you hate grind you will hate this game.

Final Verdict

Storyline: 7.0

Gameplay: 8.0

Visuals: 7.5

General Rating: 7.5

That’s it for my review guys, I hope you liked it. If you liked the game leave a comment down below and tell me what you liked the most about this game. See ya in the next article.

7 Tips to Improve your Rank in League of Legends

7 Tips to Improve your Rank in League of Legends

Hi guys! Today I will give you 7 tips that will help you improve your rank in League of Legends. I have played League of Legends since season 5 and I have reached Platinum in both EUW and EUNE. When I climb the ladder, I see people do these 7 mistakes very often and it’s one of the reasons that they don’t rank up. If you do these 7 things, I guarantee you that you will at least end Gold no matter your skill level. Let’s begin.

tips to improve your rank in league of legends

1. Have a Small Champion Pool

Now, I know that pros know a lot of champions and you believe that since they are the best in the game you should copy what they do, so you try to learn a lot of champions. This is a big mistake that will keep you from ranking up.

Most people that are high up the ladder, don’t play a lot of champions. They usually know 2-3 picks in the lanes they play. When you have fewer picks, you have more time to become better with them, and being able to consistently play good with your picks will help you to win lane more often and that will help you win games more often cause you will be able to help your team more if you are ahead of the opponent.

So, to summarize, you must know 2-3 picks in each of the 2 lanes that you play. You don’t need more than that. If you want to learn new picks, then practice with them in normals. If you want to rank up, never play picks in ranked that you don’t have at least mastery level 4.

2. Map Awareness

Another thing that people don’t do, and it keeps them from ranking up, is that they don’t look the minimap often enough. You should train yourself to look the minimap every 3 seconds tops.

Looking at the mini-map helps you avoid unnecessary deaths. If you see the enemy jungler in another lane then you know you have 5-6 seconds (if you play in the mid lane, if you play bot or top and you see jungler on the other side of the map then you have at least 17 seconds ) to play aggressively and go for kill. You should avoid going for kills when you don’t know where the enemy jungler is.

I learned this the hard way because I did this mistake a lot when I was new in the game and I died many times from the enemy jungler ganking the moment I went for the kill.

3. Know at least 2 Lanes

As I mentioned above you should know 2 lanes and 2-3 picks in each of those lanes. Don’t try to learn every single lane in the game. You should practice in normals on other lanes but in ranked you should focus on learning to play on the 2 lanes you are best at.

One common mistake that people make is that they reach Gold 1 for example and then they try to play on another lane and they end up losing a lot of games. They don’t understand that they are Gold 1 in the lanes that they play and with the champions that they play on those lanes. They aren’t a Gold 1 players in every lane and with every champion

4. Use Wards Correctly

This tip goes along with the Map Awareness tip. I see many players play aggressive in their lane to the point that they have pushed the wave under the enemy tower and they have 0 wards in the bushes, then they die because of the enemy jungler ganking them, and just like that they lost the advantage they had gained.

Never stay near the enemy tower with no wards, it doesn’t matter how fed you are except if you are 99.9% sure that you can 1vs2 (this is the only exception and I still don’t recommend it if you want to have more chances to win). You will avoid so many deaths if you do this.

[adinserter block=”1″]

5. Change your Build According to the Situation

This is another crucial thing that will help you improve your rank. You should always build according to what opponent you have in lane and after the laning phase, you should build according to who is the most fed in the enemy team and who are the biggest threats.

For example I have seen countless times games where the enemies have champions like Vladimir, Swain or Illaoi who have a lot of sustain and not a single person in my team-built items with grievous wounds as passive and we kept losing team fights because we couldn’t kill them, and no one person with grievous wounds isn’t enough, you have to have 2 people because if that person that has grievous wounds dies then its game over.

So always build according to the enemies you have.

6. Play Safe When you are Behind

This right here is the reason most people in League of Legends flame and it’s so frustrating when people on your team don’t do this. Here is the Golden Rule, if the enemy in your lane has killed you 1 more time than you have killed him then you should start being more cautious, if the enemy has killed you 2 more times than you have killed him then you hug the tower and you don’t leave it except if your jungler comes for gank.

The reason most games are lost is because people don’t do this. They keep being aggressive in lane no matter how many times they die, and the enemy becomes so fed that the rest of your team can’t do anything to stop them.

7. Use Pings and Listen to your Teammates Pinging You

Last but not least, you should ping when the enemy in your lane is missing and you should do this more than one time. Do it at least 4-5 times. Ping ss in your lane and then danger ping to the other two lanes or one lane (if you see where he is heading). You should also listen to the pings of your team and back when they say you are in danger.

One thing that many people don’t understand is that by backing when your teammate pings you then you gain advantage over the enemy team cause the enemy laner that tried to roam gets no exp or gold and also loses exp and gold from the minions that are in his lane and died while he was roaming, and also the one in your team that was the opponent of that person gets free exp and gold and also pushes to the enemy tower. People usually in lower elos don’t listen to pings and they die and blame the one that his enemy laner roamed because he didn’t follow, when in fact if he pinged them its 100% their fault for not listening, because if they went back as I said before they would get an advantage.

That’s it for my article guys, I hope you liked it. If you found these tips useful and they helped you, write a comment below and tell me which tip you found the most useful. Also, if you think that there are more tips that could help people rank up that I didn’t include in this article then tell me in the comments below. See ya in the next article.

Code Vein PC Review

Code Vein PC Review

Hi guys! Today I will talk about Code Vein. As always, the review will have four parts, firstly I will talk about the storyline, then about the gameplay, afterward, I will talk about the visuals and finally, I will tell you my personal thoughts and give you a rating for the game from 0-10 (10 being the best).

Code Vein PC Review

Storyline

The story of code vein is revealed to the player in a rather unique way.

You have the typical way that the game tells you its story, with cutscenes throughout the level, and you can also view “optional”(they are optional in the way that you can skip the dialogue when you view the memories and just unlock the ability that each memory unlocks, because memories that you find throughout the game unlock abilities so you have to choose to see them to unlock the abilities, but you can skip the dialogue if you aren’t interested) memories of the characters of the Code Vein universe to learn what happened to them and how are they connected to each other and to your companions in the story.

The story of Code Vein is very interesting and once you figure out what is going on, you will like the game even more.

Gameplay

Code Vein is a game that improved upon the Dark Souls formula and became a game that I would recommend to anyone that wants to play a challenging game.

Code Vein has a variety of weapons, abilities, and classes that you can choose and that gives you the choice to play the game whichever way you want.

You can for example play as a caster doing damage with spells from afar or as a melee fighter doing damage up close, there are many other choices that I won’t mention here because it will literally take pages of text to describe all that you can do in this game.

The thing that I want you to keep from this is that you have the freedom to play the way you want to play the game and that the game doesn’t force you to play in a certain way.

As for the weapons that you can use, there is a variety but I have to say I would have liked the game even more if I had more weapons to choose from.

Now there are many different kinds of enemies in Code Vein and you won’t feel like you are fighting the same kind of enemies over and over. Some of the enemies are really challenging to the point that they feel like mini-bosses.

The bosses of Code Vein are unique, interesting to fight, and they are challenging depending on the build you play with.

The way you progress in each location is by going from mistle(the resting point/checkpoint) and eventually finding the boss of the location and killing it. The game encourages exploration because there are many items hidden in each location so you have to thoroughly explore it.

You can play the game solo, co-op with AI or co-op with another human. I played the entire game solo, and I also played NG plus solo. The only parts where I tried co-op is when I was farming before I started NG plus and I have to say playing with AI makes the game very easy and I would discourage those of you that want a challenge to play with ai or co-op in general.

Visuals

The graphics of Code Vein are really good. It feels like you are watching an anime. The only problem I have is that the areas that I played in throughout the game didn’t really captivate me. I would have liked a more eye-catching level design.

Now I will talk about my favorite thing about this game and I think that this is its biggest selling point and that is the character customization. This game has a really deep character customization and it gives you a lot of options when you create your character, the only thing I would like to have more option about in character customization are the clothes, cause the clothing options felt limited but compared to other games this customization on a whole different level.

[adinserter block=”1″]

Final Thoughts

Code Vein is a great game that anyone that likes the Soulslike genre should buy. It is an amazing addition to the genre and I believe that there will definitely be a sequel to this game.

The combat is solid and the graphics are what you expect from a 2019 game and it has one of the best character customization systems you will find nowadays. The only problems for me are that the game encourages co-op but co-op makes the game very easy, and that the level design isn’t really impressive and memorable.

Final Verdict

Storyline: 9

Gameplay: 9

Visuals: 9

General Rating: 9

Of course, the survey will remain open and those of you that haven’t done it till now can still take part in this research that we are doing. Here is the Survey for Gamers.

When we gather 500 people in total, we will update this post with the new statistics, and we will combine the results of multiple answers. The reason we didn’t do that now is because we don’t have at least 100 people from each of the main gaming platforms and saying that 19 PS4 gamers represent the PS4 community isnt something we are willing to do.

We also made a new survey for Anime Fans. Here is the link. We would really appreciate it if you took the time to complete it.

Now without further ado, let’s see the results.

Gamers’ Gender

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

Nothing surprising here. Males were 89 and females were 16. We all knew that the vast majority of gamers were males, but it’s good to have proof.

Age Groups

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

As you can see 46.7% of gamers are between 18 and 24 years old.

It’s also nice to note that there are almost as many gamers that are not yet adults (17 years old and lower) as there are middle-aged (35 or more), which shows that gaming is not age-restricted as many people think.

Hours per Week

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

80% of gamers play video games between 1 and 30 hours per week which averages about 4 hours per day.

Gaming Consoles

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

55.2% of gamers play on PC. I can’t say that this is surprising considering that PC has a lot more uses than gaming consoles and since someone can have it all in one, the best choice for gaming is clearly PC.

You can also see the decline that XBOX has over the past years.

The following is one of the most interesting questions in this survey.

Favorite Game Genre

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

We have a clear win for Role Playing Games with 41.7%. No wonder there are so many today.

First Person Shooter games come second with 23.3%. None of the rest genres surpass 5% so there’s no need to mention anything further.

Next, we asked gamers how would they describe themselves, hardcore or casual.

Casual or Hardcore?

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

The 8.6% difference between gamers who consider themselves casuals and those who consider themselves hardcore was certainly surprising, to say the least.

Maybe there are a lot more hardcore gamers than people think or maybe people like to think themselves as hardcore gamers when in reality they aren’t.

The results in this next question also surprised us. I think many of you will be surprised as well.

Video Games as a Job

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

I think you may have heard many times from friends or have seen comments of people saying I would love to play games as a job. Getting paid to do the things you have fun doing is a dream come true right? It seems that this isn’t the case.

Only 54.3% of gamers would like to play games as a job. It turns out not so many gamers would want to turn their hobby into a job.

It’s interesting to note that the number of people who considered themselves as casual gamers and the ones who would like to have video games as a job is exactly the same (this doesn’t mean that the casuals all answered that they would like to have video games as a job).

This is odd, considering that usually if you are casual, you’ll probably be less interested in working by playing video games.

The next two questions have been a subject of discussion in the media for a long time now.

Video Game Addiction

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

72.4% of gamers don’t believe that they are addicted to video games. Usually, about 2% of all gamers are actually addicted, so 27.6% of you who think you are addicted might be a bit too harsh on yourselves.

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

57.1% of the gamers that took part in the survey answered that others don’t believe they are addicted to video games. That means that 15.3% of gamers have a different opinion from others concerning whether or not they are addicted to video games. Of course, not many people understand exactly how severe video game addiction is.

Another interesting subject of discussion in the gaming world is piracy. So we asked gamers if they would ever download a pirated copy of a video game.

We purposely didn’t ask if they ever pirated a video game because many people don’t like to admit doing something illegal even if it’s for a survey so rephrased the question in a way that we can get our answers without them having to admit they pirated a video game, and in that way, we also learned how many gamers would be willing to pirate a video game at some point if they felt the need to.

Downloading Pirated Games

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

62.9% of gamers would pirate a video game. If we are being honest the vast majority of these people have already pirated a video game.

Microtransactions

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming
65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

90.5% of gamers believe that a company’s bad policy with microtransactions can ruin a game.

77.1% of gamers consider the microtransactions a game has before they buy it.

Most companies, even though they know how gamers feel about microtransactions, keep putting more and more microtransactions in games that aren’t purely cosmetic and severy impact the experience of the players.

Purchasing Cosmetic Items

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

Another interesting stat is that 69.5% of gamers don’t even like buying even those purely cosmetic items.

There are a lot of games these days that are pay-to-win, especially the MMORPG genre, it is full of them. Here is what gamers think about Pay-to-Win.

Pay-to-Win

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

92.4% of gamers say that don’t play pay-to-win games, yet there are so many of them. It seems that companies consider the revenue they make from that 7.6% more than the need of the rest when monetizing their games.

Opinions on DRMs

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

72.4% of gamers don’t think that DRMs like Denuvo who severely impact the performance of games should exist. Companies still use those DRMs even though they only hurt their customers.

Those who would pirate their game can wait for a few weeks and won’t buy it just because they don’t want to wait.

Cloud Gaming is a new thing in the gaming world, and many call it the future of gaming. Let’s see what the gamers have to say.

Opinions on Cloud Gaming

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

65.7% of gamers don’t like the idea of Cloud Gaming even though there are services like Google Stadia which will be available soon, which is purely made for Cloud Gaming. There are a lot of problems with Cloud Gaming.

Monthly Fees for Specific Publishers

65.7% of Gamers Don't Like The Idea of Cloud Gaming

The last question in our survey was about services like Uplay+ and we asked gamers if they would ever pay a monthly fee to have access to games from a specific publisher.

68.6% of gamers would never pay for a monthly fee for services like Uplay+. No matter how much they try to push their new agenda, seems like gamers won’t stand for it.

They may want for Cloud Gaming and subscriptions to be the future of gaming but the majority of gamers don’t want them.

Max Payne 3 PC Review

Max Payne 3 PC Review

Hi guys! Today I will talk about Max Payne 3. As always, the review will have three parts, firstly I will talk about the storyline, then about the gameplay, afterward, I will talk about the visuals and finally, I will tell you my personal thoughts and give you a rating for the game from 0-10 (10 being the best).

Max Payne 3 PC Review

Storyline

I know Max Payne 3 is an old game but I have been hearing good things about it and I thought I should try it out.

I can’t say that I felt anything from the story of the game. It felt pretty average, it was there to give you a reason for all this shooting and killing and I can say it did its job. The inner thoughts of Max throughout the story were enjoyable and I have to say it’s something that I haven’t seen in another video game I have at least to this extent.

The only problem I have with the game and how it handled the storytelling is that there were too many cutscenes and too many times I lost control of the character to watch the cutscenes and that for me was annoying.

Gameplay

The main ability that you will use throughout the game is the slow motion. When you jump the game goes into slow motion and it gives you time to shoot every enemy that you can while you are in slow motion.

You can say this is something that shows that the game was ahead of its time since it’s a very unique mechanic that you don’t see often. Personally, the only other game that I remember that had something similar to this is Quantum Break.

The negative thing is that this game mechanic is the only thing you will use for the entirety of the game. There are no other abilities you unlock, no other gear or weapons. Just this game mechanic. Some may say that’s enough, but for me it got old halfway through the game.

I believe the game needed something more for you to use while you fight enemies. Many people will disagree with me on this, but nevertheless this is my review and I have to say my honest opinion.

As for the weapons that you get to use. There is enough variety in the weapons department, but most of the time I used the same kinds of weapons because they were the most efficient for my playstyle.

Now let’s talk about the difficulty. I played it on hard mode since that was the hardest difficulty you could choose at your first playthrough. There are 2 other difficulty settings that unlock after you beat the game at hard mode. Those are the Hardcore mode and the Old School mode. I never played on those settings. I just finished the game on hard mode.

I have to say hard was challenging at times and I guess Hardcore and Old School modes will give you an even more challenging experience. I believe those of you that are hardcore gamers will find what you are looking for in terms of challenge in this game.

Visuals

Max Payne 3 has very good graphics even by today’s standards. I played the game on the highest settings possible and I have to say it looked pretty good. The environment looks solid, and you fight in some interesting locations. As for the customization, the game has none. You basically play with the clothes you are given from start to finish.

Final Thoughts

Max Payne 3 is a unique game that was ahead of its time and has a unique feature that you won’t easily find somewhere else. That said it has some flows. As I said this unique feature with the slow-motion is the only thing that you will use to fight enemies.

There are no other abilities, so you will play the 10-hour story mode doing the same thing over and over again.

For me that’s not enough, you might have a different opinion and if that’s the case then good for you, I hope you enjoy the game more than me. Currently, the base game is sold for 20 dollars/euro on steam.

I don’t recommend the game at this price, I would recommend that you wait for the sale of at least 50% if not more. It’s a good game but it’s old enough that it shows on the gameplay.

Final Verdict

Storyline: 8.2

Gameplay: 8.0

Visuals: 8.0

General Rating: 8.0
